Symantec Data Center Phase 2

Symantec, Tucson, Az

Engineering and design for the build out of a 79,000 square foot of space for 34,000 square feet of data center at Symantec, Tucson, Arizona. The project includes site improvements, a mezzanine. Project included the design of a new 46kV substation to supply the 8 MW Power required for the data center, 13.8 kV switchgears, of a new 20,000 SF data center research facility consisting of biological sciences laboratories, auditoriums, pilot plant, offices and general support areas. Engineering and design services for the complete demolition and refurbishment of a 26,000 SF, Class 100 clean room in Fremont, California. The goal of this project was to remodel Laboratory 2 to match the function and capabilities of the recently remodeled Laboratory.

Building 8 Test Station Additions, Fremont, CA

Engineering and design for the construction of a Final Assembly Laboratory, Transition Room, Gown Room and support areas associated with the installation of 20 new test stations for Poly Etch Tools in Building 8.

 Engineering and design for the 320,000 Phase 1 buildings of an ultimate 900,000 SF R&D campus in Chengdu, China. The project involved construction of a 6-story building and a 7-story building with connecting covered bridge.  The buildings included labs, offices, lobbies, conference rooms, amenities and parking facility. Electrical systems included the site power distribution and communication systems, building power distribution, indoor and outdoor lighting, monitoring and controls, fire alarm, telephone, data networking, intercom, P.A. and security systems.
